Who we are
PowerPilot, the data controller for this website. Contact us about privacy at hello@powerpilot.green.
What we collect and why
- Quote requests. Your name, email, phone, postcode and project details, so we can match you with installers. Our legal basis is your request for quotes (steps before a contract).
- Installer applications. Business and contact details, to assess and manage your membership of our network.
- Visiting the site. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs to keep the site secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- Analytics. Without your consent, Google Analytics receives anonymous, cookieless signals only. If you accept analytics cookies, it can also recognise a returning visitor. You can change your choice with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
Your quote request goes to no more than three installers who cover your area, so they can contact you and quote. We also use service providers to run the site and deliver enquiries: our hosting provider (Render), and our email provider. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up and handle any complaint, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Email us to do so. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We set one strictly necessary cookie (csrftoken) that protects our forms. Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set only if you accept them.
